My friend Nadia has one of the coolest jobs ever, and last week she let me tag along while we surveyed a piece of property she's hoping to purchase with the organization she works for, Columbia Land Trust. When she isn't exploring around the wetlands and forests, she's networking and communicating with land owners, logging companies and writing grants to buy and preserver beautiful pieces of land along the Columbia river and surrounding areas.
