Hey! I’m Maya
Born and raised on the Oregon coast, I spend most of my free time hiking with my dogs, focusing on my photography and whipping up delicious homemade meals with my fiancé, Jesse. I have been photographing the people, animals and places I love since I “borrowed” my mom’s camera in 99’ and began documenting and highlighting the natural world around me.
As a photographer, I take a very candid approach to each shoot. Sometimes we get so caught up in staging a perfectly synchronized scene, that we lose the warmth and the energy of those sweet moments. I believe the most beautiful images are best captured during free and un-tethered times.
I will approach your shoot with energy, heart, and a whole lot of love because that's just the way I am.
