Oregon - Washington - Idaho

Like many, Matt and I took advantage of this past long weekend and got outta town! Rented a car, loaded it up and set off for, Idaho. Our main purpose, was to head up to Sandpoint and celebrate with friends and family at a beautiful wedding, but we had a few side adventures along the way. We explored mountain roads, pristine lakes and quirky old towns. This brought life and a face, to a part of the country I hadn't seen before. It was a wonderful time, filled with laughs, delicious food and smiling faces.

Coffee Girl kind of mornings

Things have been a little hectic lately, what with starting a site, starting new jobs and beginning the process of moving from one home to another, it's hard to find time, to just be. But Sundays are still up for grabs, and yesterday, we took advantage. After a lazy morning, we wandered down to Coffee Girl, the best view in town and hung out with some wonderful people for a sweet little time. It was windy, but no one minded, it felt good to just sit and talk outside. Coffee Girl, Astoria OR

Angora Peak in the heat

Last Sunday, Matt and I and some new friends took it upon ourselves to hike Angora peak. What we didn't take into consideration, was the blistering sun and lack of flowing water. The going was tough... But once we reached the top, all that faded away into the best picnic with a view to date. Cheers to sunshine in May!Angora Peak Descent Angora Peak Viewpoint
